Quiet location in Böckstein

Our Achenhaus ist located a few minutes from Gastein's radon galleries and the major ski resort "Sportgastein". Right on the river and at the cross-country ski run (in the evening with flood light).

By car

• Coming from/via Munich approx. 2 hours
  
  
• Coming from/via Salzburg aprox. 1 hour:Tauernautobahn in the direction south till Bischofshofen, exit Gasteinertal, federal road 167 till Gastein.

• Coming from/via Innsbruck aproxx. 2 hours: Motorway via Wörgl, federal road 312 via St.Johann/Tirol till Lofer, federal road 311 via Zell am See till Lend, federal road 167 till Gastein or motorway - Kufstein - Salzburg - Villach, exit Gasteinertal, federal road 167 till Gastein. Coming rom South you can drive via Villach, Möllbrücke and Obervellach till Mallnitz. Then take the easy "Tauernschleuse" (car shuttle service) to Böckstein

In front of our house are parking lots free of charge.

By plane

The next airports are Salzburg and Munich.
A taxi transfer is available from and to Gastein.

By train

At the local railway station in Bad Gastein Euro- and Intercitytrains (including Fast- and Express-trains) are stopping. Busconnection and taxis are avialable. Schedule ÖBB | DB
